SHIPS: Playing a character like Ariel makes it fairly easy to ship with her but I won't just throw my mermaid child at you just to gain a ship. I love substance and growth when it comes to ships.

MEMES & ASKS: Send anything that you wish. Though, I do ask that if you're not too keen on actually writing with me ( meaning that you're only sending it because of reblog karma ) please don't send it and make me waste my time answering if it's an IC meme. The answer to the question "Can I turn this into a thing?", the answer is always going to be yes. You don't even have to ask. If I answered it, that's permission enough for you to continue it. But I do ask that you continue it in a new post.

CALLOUTS & DRAMA: I have a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for it. If you feel the need to call out someone over some dumb shit and not tag it, I will unfollow immediately. I really don't care what someone else is doing. I don't. I come here to get away from real life. I don't want to be bogged down with some petty shit. And when I say unfollow, I really do mean it. You can be my best friend and I will still unfollow to keep my dash as stress free as I can ( though this doesn't mean I hate you or have no interest in writing with you )

FOLLOWING/UNFOLLOWING: Ariel is a side blog so that means all follows will come from motheriing, though be aware, I may not always follow back just to keep that blog clean. I don't mind non-mutuals sending me things or roleplaying with me. Also, in regards to the above rule about call outs and my unfollowing, I practice something called friendly unfollowing meaning that I still am your friend, I'll still send you things, talk to you, and everything that goes with the rp experience. I just don't feel comfortable with things that have been posted.

EXCLUSIVITY & REBLOG KARMA: My two biggest pet peeves in the RPC. I'm all for being mains, but I will not allow someone to be ignored just because I rp with someone that has their same character. I've been rping for a while and not once have I had threads overlap when it comes to having threads with more than one of the same muse. I will NEVER be responsible for someone feeling like they don't belong. On reblog karma, it's forced interaction. Plain and simple. Reblog whatever you want from me. Though, I will caution you, if you bitch about reblog karma, I will either soft block you or completely unfollow so I won't reblog anything from you.

PASSWORDS:Last I checked, I wasn't 5 and I wasn't building a club that said "no stinky boys allowed". It's juvenile. I won't ever ask you to send any passwords and I won't be lowering myself in age just to get into your stinkin' clubhouse.

ANIMATED FCS: While Ariel comes from an animated cartoon, I will usually play her with a live action FC because it's more comfortable for me. I will, on occasion, use her cartoon counterpart but it's rare. As for other animated muses, I do prefer live action FCs, but I can bend a little on this. For anime and all of that, I can tell you that I know absolutely nothing about any of it. I was never a fan of it, but I won't deny an rp based on that.

Vibrant, waist length red hair, creamy skin mostly untouched by the sun, small in frame. Bright blue eyes.

As a mermaid, she has a green tail that can appear in various shades with the sun's reflection. Purple sea shell bra. She has a nictitating membrane over her eyes when she dives beneath the water or is coming up from below.

Daughter of King Triton ( alive ) and Queen Athena ( deceased, accidentally killed by a wrecked pirate ship ). She's the youngest daughter that resembles her mother the most, causing her father to be far more protective over Ariel than of her six other older sisters.

Psychologically sound.

Personality Distinctions: curious, rebellious, optimistic, questioning, adventurous, spoiled, loving, understanding, all around cute as a button.

Swimming, navigation, singing.

Born the youngest daughter to King Triton, Ariel was given much more leeway when it came to being a troublemaker. Her curiosity took her all around the oceans, but her curiosity brought her to what lurked just above the water’s surface.

It’s the trinkets that she finds from sunken ships that sparks most of her curiosity and she is far too adventurous for her own good sometimes.

Family and home are swept to the wayside when the little mermaid takes to the surface. Voiceless and naked, she washes up on the shore with legs where her tail had once been with a task to be kissed before the sunsets on the third day.

    MAIN: the mysterious fathoms below

    Ariel is still a mermaid and travels the seas in search of an adventure. She rejects her father’s teachings and finds interest, perhaps an obsession, with the human world.

    IMPORTANT INFORMATION: I do tweek this verse, Ariel may/may not be able to go to land as she wishes just to make plotting easier.

    SECONDARY MAIN: and I could be part of your world

    Ariel is walking upright on two feet, but her voice has been taken from her by the sea witch, Ursula, so communication is based with hand gestures.

    QUEEN and sing the song of the sea with you

    Ariel has married the prince and has become queen and mother to an equally curious and rebellious child. but new threats arise from land and sea with being a reigning monarchs, one from land and one born of the sea. this loosely follows the events of the sequel film.

    IMPORTANT: may be set before the birth of her first child or during the second film.

    CROSSOVER: POTC I disdain all glitter and gold

    Ariel is lost from her pod and is swayed into following pirate ships as they are far too often full of so many interesting characters as she has been known to warn of impending tragedy to both pirates and navy men. Pirates and sailors both have talked about the fire haired siren that has rescued them from the depths and has sang them to sleep with the voice of an angel.

    IMPORTANT INFORMATION: follows mermaid lore from On Stranger Tides where a mermaid gains legs when brought to dry land in most plots.

    CROSSOVER: TWD the dead take a walk on the beach

    Ariel lives in a small beach house before the dead rose up to take hold of the world. Her first weapon ever used against a walker happened to be a sharp conch shell, used as a last resort. and it’s become an important item in her bag that she carries every where with her. Having been lost of human contact, she has resorted to keeping a pet hermit crab named Sebastian. Without contact with others, Ariel is ignorant of how dark humanity has become in regards to killing other living humans.

    CROSSOVER: OUAT a mermaid may cross realms to find what she wishes

    following the show’s storyline, Ariel is tricked by the Evil Queen and her voice is taken from her as punishment for disobeying. She loses the chance to gain her happy ending when Prince Eric leaves his maritime kingdom without her, but Ariel is not one to be stopped so easily. She crosses realms and crosses the paths of quite a number of characters in order to find her happy ending.

    AU: MODERN silicone tails

    Ariel is wholly human in the modern world. She works as a mermaid at a local aquarium and sea food restaurant. Occasionally she does modelling in her mermaid tail.

    AU: DARK MERMAID nothing as sweet as human meat

    following the classic belief of mermaid lore where mermaids lure sailors to their death, Ariel has become a fierce entity in the sea as Triton’s youngest daughter. She gives the gift of a mermaid’s kiss, giving her human prey the ability to breath beneath the water and revitalizing health which helps make her meal of a sailor ever better. She and her sisters can happily feast upon a fresh meal hours after he’s been brought beneath the ocean surface, like a crocodile would stuff its kill beneath a log for further consumption.
